Scotsman's Valley Home Alterations

A mid nineteen forties rural residential dwelling set on the edge of a peninsula on a lifestyle block east of Hamilton, required substantial renovation and reimaging to bring this family home into the twenty first century, yet not destroy its tradtional architectural roots. Removal of all interior walls and reassembling the exterior perimeter and internal space planning, has successfully delivered this home back into another hundred years of family use. Skinned in black stained Cedar and Cedar shingles, the exterior white coloured windows and doors, nicely reference the traditional creosote exterior rural design aesthetic.
